C3TJ Telephone
Interface <Previous-Module
- Next>
The Telephone Interface enables the PowerPage 3000 system to be connected
to any PABX. Any extension telephone can then be used to initiate a paging
call. The caller or PABX communicates with the Telephone Interface using dialed
digits or DTMF tones. The paging system prompts the caller for information
using either a series of tones, or spoken 'Voice Prompts'. Where the telephone
interface is configured for more than one function, such as user paging and
status registration, the caller indicates which function is required by using
the first dialed digit.
